Organizing: Princess C's Room

Next was the little princess's room. First stop are her toys everywhere. Although, they are already on separate bins, it's all mixed up. We all know how kids are with their growing no of toys. I was only too happy to brag that mine doesn't spoil her toys and she plays with them with much care. Only thing is, she have this habit of mixing all in one bin. I wanted to instill to her at her age the habit of learning how to clean up after making a mess and to play with only one bin at a time. She does at first but complains that she's tired after putting back 3 or 4 pieces of toys in it's own box. Sheesh, 3 years old :)

This was the most tiring part of this room as I have to take out everything out from their bins and segregate them according to type. I'm so happy with these Ikea Bins :) I threw some of the small toys and one kitchen (she have 2) which is really spoil. While this process is ongoing, I have the little one nagging me on what I am doing with her toys and why I'm throwing some of it. I told her that we were just organizing them in a way they can play with them one at a time. I thought she'd go out but she stayed and asked every single toy I throw at the segregated bin for throwing (and yes, she knows it's for throwing). In the end, I only managed to keep almost everything BUT successfully segregated them in one bin. I'm so happy with the result.

For her closet, I set aside the clothes and items that she outgrew and organize them in a way that all the dresses are hang, the shirts and shorts and pants on the upper shelf and her towels on the lower shelf of her closet. On her other drawer, her sleeping gears on lower drawer, her daily stay-at-home outfit on the second drawer and panties and socks on the upper drawer. Her books, pencils, papers, and stuff are on her book shelf.

And now, here's the after shot of my project :)
