Precious Angel

If I see you in another lifetime,
would you know who I was or who we were?
would you know how much we have anticipated your arrival?
would you remember how wide our smiles when you came?

If I see you in another lifetime and you didn't recognize me,
would you spend a little moment to listen so i can tell you
not much but enough to help you remember some of it?

I was glad that for a while you made me happy when I first carried you in my arms
Would you even have a recollection of the song I sang to you
when you couldn't sleep because of your tummy ache?
It was a few days but all the while made me fell in love with you

But when I had the chance to meet you again,
i will tell you how much happiness you've brought us
how much our hearts were broken when you left us
how much it aches to have lost you forever

We will miss you so much our sweet angel
As you rest in Gods care
We will rest too
Knowing that Jesus is watching over you
