Hebedey Me!

Today is the official "me-day". Last night after mass, we had dinner at McDonalds then we met Mars and Halil at my favorite place Que Pasa. Plan was to wait until 12 but we've finished our wines half past 11 so we decided to go home instead. At the strike of 12, Habiga and Mars Joey greeted me with a kiss. Friends sent me YM messages. Hawsmeyts Abby, Sheila, Glynz and Dennis gave me a card I didn't expect which was really sweet. I was so touched and I felt so much love at the beginning of my special day. This morning, I got a separate overseas calls from my family - Mom, Apple, Kendz and Roniel. I got sms from friends which some I didn't expect to remember. Few minutes after I got to work I received a call that I have a delivery - a bouquet of dozen pink and peach colored champagne roses! I received email greetings from friends, too. I had lunch with habiga at KFC and a cup of coffee afterwards. I can't wipe the smile off my face. I am so happy!

My day doesn't just ends there. After office, habiga surprised me with a buffet dinner at "Mariott Hotel". Well, I know about the dinner. No idea about the place though. Food was great! :) I'll make a separate post for the review of the place :)

I felt so much love in the air! I can't thank God enough for blessing me with friends and family who showered me with so much love and for giving me a truly wonderful husband. I can't thank enough the people who started making a big deal celebrating one's birthday. It's truly magical and and memorable moment. Thank you to all of you who remembered. And I don't mind those who forgot. You didn't have to as I myself is one very forgetful person.

Pre-Birthday Party

The time we reached the magic "3" we made a deal with each other that we won't be having any more of those crazy expensive parties we used to have when we we're still in our 20's. Habiga's friends planned a get-together "inuman" with only one person knowing it was his birthday. Some friends hahaha. So, when they went to our place they were totally clueless that it was a get-together-cum-birthday celebration. I did invited few friends who we usually go out with. After consuming 2 bottles of vodka, 2 bottles of tequila i think and 3 bottles of wines, it's really obvious that most of us did enjoy that night. Tenchu sa mga nag-greet at nagdala ng food and beer and cake. It's realy obvious how everyone made my bebe so happy. :D Super tenchu to our friends who made it to the mini celebration. Super tenchu to our hawsmeyts Tita Abby, Dennis, Glynz and Sheila who were so patient with the noise.    Pinoy Sunday's very own Ronald and John planned a small gathering too in our function room. They had "The Dawn" as their guest so we did made a little appearance too hihihi. FYI, habiga's bday party happened to coincide with "Pinoy Sunday's" welcome party for the "The Dawn" in our function room hehehe.

I just remembered that this year was the first in six years that i didn't have any birthday party. Huwaw!

A surprise birthday cake

I asked the help of the two macho man - Ulrik and Bossing - to help me in taking all my "office trash" home. Thank you Ulrik and Boss and Ycay for the help! From home, we went to gluttons bay to meet Cuz Eram and Kulet. We had dinner and surprisingly, I've managed to finished the small prawn mee with my favorite barbequed chicken wings, yum! Wow, i'm really that hungry. After the dinner, cuz and kulet take out their surprise for me - a chocolate birthday cake - yipeeeeee! Tenchu tenchu! Im really really touched. Alafyu! Of course, this blog won't be complete without a picture or two of the event to help us conjure what really happen that time hihi. Buti na lang, taking pictures is Boss' and Ulrik's new hobby. Willing model! *taas kamay* Tomorrow, I'll add pictures of me, eram and kulet :)
