Today is another anniversary not meant for celebrating. It brings a jab of pain in our family's hearts especially to my sister A. But we know you are perfectly fine in heaven. Please look down on us once in a while in between your playtime there. Take care of your mommy especially your Ate Aom. You are here in our hearts forever baby Nathan. You have and will always be our bunso. Thank you Lord for lending us this sweet angel.
A poem from your Mom's FB status:
I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and the day before that too.
I think of you in silence. I often say your name.
But all I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part.
God has you in His keeping. I have you in my heart.
I shed tears for what might have been. A million times I've cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly. In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place, no one can ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone.
For part of me went with you, the day God took you home.

Organizing: Others
These were categorized as "the others" since this are doesn't need total organizing but requires only a little bit of touch up and cleanup. I don't have the before and after shots though. Still, it is counted as a challenge for me as it is included in my project for this year.

Organizing: Stock Room
Today's challenge is a bit challenging plus my allergy is acting up again while I'm at it. With this room, I've applied a little bit of tactic in playing the tetris. It's only a small room so we need to use up every single space. Like the previous challenges, I was not able to get the before shot, so this after shot will serve as my guide the next time I revisited this challenge. This stock room contains all those things we have that we still need but never used on a daily basis. Huge TV boxes, Old Stuff toys for charity, old clothes, toy collectibles, FHM collection, photo albums and the few luggage we have. I am a bit satisfied with the outcome as I managed to put back everything with the items that we occasionally used within reach.

Organizing: Princess C's Room
Next was the little princess's room. First stop are her toys everywhere. Although, they are already on separate bins, it's all mixed up. We all know how kids are with their growing no of toys. I was only too happy to brag that mine doesn't spoil her toys and she plays with them with much care. Only thing is, she have this habit of mixing all in one bin. I wanted to instill to her at her age the habit of learning how to clean up after making a mess and to play with only one bin at a time. She does at first but complains that she's tired after putting back 3 or 4 pieces of toys in it's own box. Sheesh, 3 years old :)
This was the most tiring part of this room as I have to take out everything out from their bins and segregate them according to type. I'm so happy with these Ikea Bins :) I threw some of the small toys and one kitchen (she have 2) which is really spoil. While this process is ongoing, I have the little one nagging me on what I am doing with her toys and why I'm throwing some of it. I told her that we were just organizing them in a way they can play with them one at a time. I thought she'd go out but she stayed and asked every single toy I throw at the segregated bin for throwing (and yes, she knows it's for throwing). In the end, I only managed to keep almost everything BUT successfully segregated them in one bin. I'm so happy with the result.
For her closet, I set aside the clothes and items that she outgrew and organize them in a way that all the dresses are hang, the shirts and shorts and pants on the upper shelf and her towels on the lower shelf of her closet. On her other drawer, her sleeping gears on lower drawer, her daily stay-at-home outfit on the second drawer and panties and socks on the upper drawer. Her books, pencils, papers, and stuff are on her book shelf.

Organizing: Kitchen
I have started with the kitchen since this I have seen some roaches around and I am so planning to cleanup the kitchen since last year. Sadly, I didn't take any before shot photos and the mess while in the middle of cleaning up. But honestly, it is not really pretty.
I have thrown those things that has not been used for years. We cleanup all the cabinets and put back the things according to use. On the left, we have total of 6 cupboards. On the right, we have total of 5 cupboards. Fridge, on the other hand will be on a different day as first major cleanup left me with sneezing non stop. For someone who have asthma, I'm not sure why I am so addicted to cleaning up. I blame it on my mom :)
Before and after shot are not provided for this project. I only managed to take the shelf of where we stash our alcoholic drinks because I sent the photo to dadi. I probably got overwhelmed with the mess. It's a success though and I am so happy.

Project 2013 Challenge
Since time is a lot in my hands right now, I have already started cleaning up / organizing our things. I will try to blog the other projects that I have on my list and will call it Project 2013. Back when I was still working, I always feel depressed that I can't find the time to rearrange our home. I feel ecstatic when I see that things are in order so it always saddens me when I feel I can't. So now, I am super happy with these. I have started with a few on my list and already happiness is all over me. I just hope this household will keep it like this until end of 2013 :) So please begin the journey with me. By the way, this project inspiration I got from another website - theterpblog while searching for organizing tips :) I promise, it really made my heart pumping! One more terribly good website is IHeartOrganizing. Do the challenge now and it will make you pretty fulfilled :) Below are my own list and will continue to update with the new projects and those I've completed :)
I am pretty satisfied with this project and kept my mind off of getting negative vibes due to unemployment.

Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013.
Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013.
Each day is travelling as fast as a bullet. I didn't realize it's already 13 years after the dreaded year2k. Last month's so-called viral end of the world according to Mayan Calendar didn't happen. That's two "threats" to the world I am living in and it's still alive and kicking. Time is passing by so fast that sometimes it scares me. I cannot cope up with how fast it flies by. I couldn't even managed my time well to record those memorable events in my and baby's life. I love writing down my thoughts and feelings on a notebook and modern times made me a hardcore blogger. That was back when time is still in my hands. Now, I got a lot of backlogs. So, at least at the beginning of each year, I tried my best to look back into the previous year and blog them - well, at least the summary of it. I do this because I am hoping that in the future, time will slow down and let me go back and read through all the things I have written down. I have a backup in case blogspot site will not be in existence in the near future :) So, to start my previous year lookback, below were the pieces of my 2012 puzzle.
In January, celebrating our first new year in our new place and our manila visit is the top happy moments of this month. This was also our princess's first time to be a flower girl although she didn't walk, I think she did really enjoy her princess gown. This month is also memorable as I was able to see my HS barkada after a long time. Thanks to FB. A visit from Mama Mary is indeed a blessing. And of course, our bf-gf anniversary :)
In February, bunso's arrival and working here made it to the top happy moment of this month. Mama Mary's one month visit ended on this month also. What's good about this month is, this being the love month, I got a dinner surprise from dadi. This month's downer is work related. The year was only starting and the stress was pinning me down already.
In March, first time to watch a musical (Wicked) at MBS with Dadi and the gucci baby#2 were the top happy moments of this month. Only downer is still work related.
In April, our yearly tradition bisita iglesia is our top moment of the month. This month, we welcome in our family the new 2 iPad's, one for bunso and one for me.
In May, celebrating mother's day is the top of this month. This is extra special mother's day because now Cheska know already how to greet me with a kiss! Plus I got a surprise flowers from dadi which is a big wow. And I got a new pair of very expensive Tory Burch shoes. Hooray!
In June, celebrating father's day is the top of this month. Dadi was also the ninong of the Malanyaon-Lim's new bundle of joy - Baby Manu.
In July, celebrating baby Cheska's 3rd birthday and my in laws visit to singapore is the top of this month. And our first time to be inside Universal Studios Singapore :) It's a busy busy month but full of happiness and all gala :)
In August, birthday celebration with family and our family trip to KL, Malaysia is the top of this month. The downer was the farewell dinner for one of my favorite friend - cuz.
In September, a lot of things happen on this month. Mostly birthdays and farewells to some colleagues. Those made it to the top of this month is of course our wedding anniversary, bunso's birthday, my new LV mini pochette and of course, my new LV Bag #3. Downer is still work related. Plus a few close friends from work are leaving.
In October, the top of this month is our trip together with two friends from work in Legoland and Hello Kitty Town and of course the Johor Premium Outlet. It was a really memorable trip and truly unforgettable :p It's also Ate Bheng's birthday so as a gift, we gave her the ticket to watch the ASAP Singapore while I and Cheska had a bonding moment at her favorite place - SingKids. I had my Tory Burch slippers delivered which I ordered online and a lot cheaper than buying at the store.
In November, my first 10km marathon run together with my bunso is on the top of this month plus this was the first month that I'll be free from stress from work. I've acquired some friends at work and I'm so thankful for them. This month was all despedida lunch and night out. It was fun and I'm surely gonna miss these guys. But all these happy moments were negated when I was hospitalized for ectopic pregnancy for 4 days. All will be blogged soon so I'll remember them in the future.
In December, aside from celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve, my top 1 of the month is the christmas gift I got from habidad - a mulberry wallet. And blessings are pouring with our Manila and Baguio trip with Cheska and my Vietnam trip.
So for the year 2012, It's nothing but blessings and memories with families and friends. The only downer for this year for me is my work and I'm hoping that 2013 will be good to me when it comes to this area. Goodbye 2012! It’s been fun and lovely being with you!

Stress Free - Day 3
Day 3 is Sunday. After mass, it's still shopping day. We finally managed to bookes our ticket though for Pinas Vacay, thanks to Dadi. It will be a bonding time between me and Cheska. Thank you Lord as I am enjoying my relaxing moment so far. It's been 3 days only but I think I am really loving this stress free moment. I still wake up every 3 AM in the morning to check my phone only to realize that I am not employed anymore and not totally doing any support now. Oh, what a relief!
1. Shop till we drop (still)
2. Tickets to Pinas - booked!

Stress Free - Day 2
I have nothing to say about Day 2 as this is our usual weekend routine - Shopping. Specially now there's a reason to, and in spite of what had transpire few days ago, it will and still is part of the family's routine. And of course, a trip to the toy store for Cheska will always complete the meal.

Stress Free - Day 1
For 12 years that I have been working overseas, this will be the first time that I will be resting and so looking forward to it. There is of course the financial things to think about but God never forsake me. I have never been so stressed in my life, work wise, and I am hoping to get the best out of my "vacation" which I hope won't last that long. So, I am here blogging it because I know once I started working again, I will have this to look back to and tell myself that I have done the best rest in all of my life. I thank GOD for giving me reasons and sane mind to choose between what will be best for me. I thank dadi of course, for always supporting me in every way. He is the best husband and friend and father. I wouldn't trade him for the world.
So Day 1, ironically, I woke up early. I was planning to sleep till noon but my mind was so busy thinking of what will I do for the rest of the day. From now till the end of my "stress free" days, I will list down the things I have done for each day so I will know how much I have accomplished and done without wasting it. Or I could just go and sit around the whole day. But knowing me, first thing on my mind right now is to actually clean up our messy room and organize my things. Yay! Will update this blog till end of this day for more updates weeeeeeee. Job hunting probably after two weeks. For now, I WILL AND SHALL RELAX!
1. Blog, Internet Surfing, Check Mails
2. Cleanup / Organize / Declutter
3. Watching Breaking Dawn @ 11:25 PM
4. Trip to Starbucks before heading home @ 2AM

Day 2 @ Mt Alvernia
I was awaken by Dr. Chua giving me updates. Blood sample was taken from me. Hopefully good news later.
At 9, I was taken to the ultrasound lab where I was tested and checked three times by the doctors with the ie test. Still nothing and have to wait for the doctor.
At past 6, Dr Chua stopped by. Thank God for giving us good news today. I still have to stay though, hopefully they will discharge me on Wednesday.
Some things are unexpected and I am just thankful to God that I still have another chance to live. And we are thankful for giving us reason to think the alternative things instead of jumping soon in the wagon. And thank God it is working so far. Hoping the iron meds works so I don't need to undergo a blood transfusion.
Another night to spend by myself. :(

My First Marathon
Due to work, I was not able to run in months to practice for this marathon that I, without even thinking if I can do it, joined together with my sister. Days before my run, I was really nervous if I will make it and half of that time, I was really sure that I will not. But my friend keep on telling me that she had joined 10km marathon three times and she and her friends only walk and just chat along the way that they didn't know the race is over. So, I was calm for a moment. I don't have actually much choice here. I was determined not to back down, but I was convinced that I will be the last one in the race.
Come to this day, we had only 5 hours of sleep, I woke up at 5 and wake up my sister. Our's is set to start at 7.10 AM and I am determined not to be late on this special day of my life. Yes, it's a big deal for me. Well, most of our firsts are a big deal for us right? Anyway, one cab didn't take us in when he learned where we're going and the second one was kind of unsure if he's taking us. I just told him to dropped us of anywhere near the place since it's already 6AM. Still not much traffic and we made it at The Float@Marina Bay by 6:30AM.
By 7AM, all 10km participants were called in at the starting lane. Oh by the way, you might be asking why for a first time to join a marathon, I chooses 10km and not the 5km? Well, it's because of the medal and don't laugh because it has a big influence on pushing myself to run for the remaining 3km.
Start of the race, I panicked before even hitting 1km. I was asking myself if I can make it. I really have no idea what I got myself into. And most of all, as much as I am ashamed to admit, I really have no idea how far a 10km is. And I was cursing my friend for everyone in the race are so serious of running! Even my sister! So I pushed myself. I brisked walked but it was really not that easy. 2km made me happy that I made it and it was those banners with "Hydration Station" that pushes me. 4km felt like I have been running forever. But surprisingly, my feet and legs are not hurting (thanks to my new Nike shoes lol). I was just tired of running but I never thought of cheating and resting for a bit when all those runners are so serious about this. When we reached 5km, I felt like the engine inside me has started to pump up and so we run and run and run. Whenever I saw the singapore flyer, I feel like we are really getting closer and I am this close to getting that freaking medal. 9km was a joy and we couldn't help but stopped for a souvenir photo but it won't be a victory if we don't finished what was left of it. So we run and we hear the roar of the people in the area and we saw the finished line! I never thought I will make it. In 1.38! I practice running for 2km for almost an hour and always make me feel like my insides are coming out. We did it. I did it! At my age, without a practice, I feel really proud of myself. It might be easy to some, but it is a big achievement for me.
Thanks bunso, for being part of this event of my life. Now, I have one item again to take off from my list. 21km next? Hahaha. Tingnan natin!

When river runs dry
Have you ever felt having that great need of getting out of something but you cant? Like being in a prison where your feet are chained to the ground. Like being stuck in a puddle of mud and you have that stick but you cant reach it. Lucky are those who were given a chance to have a choice, to have an opportunity to fly. Lucky are those who doesnt need to get stucked into something just because theres no other choice. Lucky are those who are living their life the way they want it.

Marche Bar and Bistro
Yesterday was really one of my not so good days. As sweet as ever, dadi knows how to cheer me up. We ended up in Raffles in Marche Bar and bistro. We were kind of surprise at first at their menu as there's not much choice. We did try the roasted chicken gourmet pizza and the back bacon and cheese roll crepe. Glass of riesling for me and a beer for dadi. Food was absolutely divine and good for two serving. I even over reacted at the taste of the crepe since I am not a fan. And the wood fired pizza is so delicious. I was not even hungry at that time but we ate a lot! Now I cant stop thinking about it and I am now continually advertisin the place for free lol! Pictures we took was not good but you really have to try them even once and let me know if it's just me or they are really good.

I have to move on
After quite a long time of staying, I think i have to move my ass and be in the field again. I know i deserve something and I am not getting it here. For all those years, it has hurt so much of my confidence instead of boosting it. I wish I could find what Im looking for because, honestly I too, am tired of whining about how those words are freaking killing my self confidence. hmmm good luck to me :(
I really dont have the energy now to do what was expected of me. Hayyy....

Mother's Day 2012
This year's mother's day is like a valentines / anniversary day for me. I felt so much love from dadi. The gift and dinner is a huge plus. What really made me literally teary eyed is the surprise delivery of flowers on the day itself. I'm overly happy because it was quite a while since I received one from him. And what made this mother's day even special is this year, my little princess can greet me :) I felt so loved and much appreciated. Thank you dadi and baby boo. I love you both so much!! Thank you for loving me :)

Up In The Air
After watching the movie, it got me into thinking a lot of things again. For instance, how one stays to be working for the same company doing the same job over the years. And it's mainly because it's what keeps you alive, satiating your hunger, keeping you warm under that roof, and making you buy the gadgets that is keeping you from keepin in touch with the people that matters to you. Its a movie that eill help you realize a lot of things.
Then i thought, what was that thing that I really wanted to do if I am not doin what im doing now. I know the answer :) I love dancing. I love dressing up. And If i still can, I will still pursue this thing i really want. But world doesnt go on this way. But hey, who knows right? :D

Cheska's Doctor Moment
Cheska has been very afraid of going to the doctor. It's always our panakot to her whenever we want her to do something. It started only when we went to Gleneagles for her checkup.
Yesterday, since hubby was on leave, I asked him if he could bring cheska to the doctor for her allergies. It went well. Great actually that I wanted to send fruits to that doctor :D Here's why :)
When i came home last night, she came to me and told me.
Cheska: Mommy, girls doctor are bad. boys doctor are good.
It wasnt clear to me until dadi told me the doctor was a very gentle guy. And i remember her last pedia was a lady who always smiles but never gentle on kids.
Cheska: Mommy look I have minnie mouse ticker. Doctor give me this. You want ticker? Princess ticker?
Mommy: I want sticker too!
Cheska: Doctor will give you lets go mommy.
Mommy: But I'm scared of the doctor
Cheska: No mommy. Cheska not scared. I'll hold your hand.
Mommy: Promise?
Cheska: Yes
Mommy: Ok!
Then in the bed before we sleep, I knew she really enjoyed her visit to the pedia.
Cheska: Mommy lets go to doctor tom so you have princess ticker.
That night she didnt scratch so much! Im so loving that pedia for making cheska not afraid of their "kind" and fr curing my baby's itchiness! Hooray to Physiogel also!
Yipeeeee!
